Frequent asked questions for babies & kids, families and mum-to-be photo session
What is your style?
My shooting style is very natural with minimal props and posing involved. I adopt a lifestyle and spontaneous approach to capture the unique characteristics of my clients, which helps me create those once in a life time moments that are natural and unrehearsed.

How do you work?
I shoot on location – it can be at your home, in a park, or a location of your choice. I recommend scheduling babies/kids sessions around the time when they are most lively and alert, and when your apartment or choice of location is well lit by natural light.

I work in a very non-intrusive manner so I can assure you that every session is fun and comfortable.

What is a session like?

A typical session is around 1 to 1 ½ hours, including warm up and break time for your babies/kids and/or yourself. I don't limit the number of images I capture during a session. Typically around 74-80 images will be chosen and presented to you in the form of contact sheets for your print selection. You can also choose to view the images on line.

What should we wear on the day?

Simple style and colour is the key. Try to avoid complicated and colourful patterns, as they can be distracting in a photo. For family photos, try to dress everyone in a similar tone and colour. For example, dark blue, black, cream and off white are generally good. For newborn and baby photos, I suggest shooting part of the session without clothes to bring out their pure innocent and natural characteristics.

What is your fee structure?
My basic fee structure can be split up into three parts:
• Photography fee for my service;
• Printing cost for selected prints; and
• Product cost if you ever decide to frame a photo, create a collage, or create cards, post cards with the photos.

We can always discuss and tailor a fee structure that suits your needs and expectation.

Do you offer packages to clients?
As every client's requirement is unique, I don't offer standard packages. This gives you maximum freedom and flexibility to choose the quantity and size of the photos.

Nevertheless, I do offer some special packages during the festive season and to clients who would like to have multiple photo sessions within a certain time period, such as the "I am growing" program for new borns. Please check the specials section of my website from time to time!

What if my child gets sick (or grumpy) on the day of the session?
I suggest rescheduling the session. It's never fun trying to force a photo shoot on a sick/grumpy child!

Can I cancel or reschedule my session?
I understand that unforeseeable circumstances may arise which may interfere with our appointment. However, I would appreciate if you can give me 48 hours notice so that I can make that time slot available to other clients.

If an emergency arises and 48 hours notice is not possible, please give me a call as soon as you can and we can work something out.
